What Promptchan is, as of October 2026
Promptchan, at promptchan.com, offers AI companion chat alongside AI image and video creation. Its website describes the process as writing a prompt, choosing a style and generating an image, with a feature called Tweak for refining images by text and the option to turn images into video.
Its website mentions a Pro plan and Gems, a currency used for some features, and says new accounts get free Gems and starter chat messages, and that AI video requires Pro and uses Gems. When we checked, the homepage did not list prices, so we do not quote any. Check promptchan.com for current details and its own content rules.
Who Promptchan suits
Promptchan suits people who enjoy writing prompts and exploring styles, and who want companion chat and short videos in the same place. If you like experimenting with new characters and looks from scratch, a prompt-first tool gives you a lot of freedom.
Who KinkAI suits
KinkAI suits adult creators who need the same person in every picture. A prompt describes a type of person, and each new picture can drift. KinkAI learns one specific face and body from 10 to 20 photos, so a set made today matches the one you made last month.
That consistency is what lets a creator build a recognisable feed. You can still be creative: pick from a library of tested scenes, describe your own, or edit a finished picture by describing one change. See AI model of yourself for how training works.
Pricing per photo, in pounds
KinkAI has no subscription. Every picture is one of three levels: clothed for 1 Kredit, topless for 2 and naked for 3. You buy Kredits by card in pounds and they never expire. Packs start at 75 Kredits for £15 and go up to 2,900 for £349, with the cost per picture falling as packs get bigger.
A ten picture set with four clothed, three topless and three naked pictures comes to 4, plus 6, plus 9, which is 19 Kredits. See the pricing page.
Explicit levels and the ID check
Topless and naked pictures open after a one-time ID check with Didit, which confirms you are 18 or over. After that, all three levels are a standard part of the product. The X-rated photo generator page shows the explicit levels in more detail.
