Updating Your Character When Your Look Changes

8 October 2026 · 3 min read

Your character is a picture of you at the moment you built it. That is exactly what you want, right up until the day you cut your hair short, dye it a new colour or add a tattoo you are proud of. From then on every new picture shows an older version of you, and anyone who knows your work will notice.

Notice when it matters

Small changes do not need anything. A slightly different fringe or a new shade of lipstick can be described in the scene itself. It is the big, lasting changes that matter: a new hair length or colour, glasses you now wear every day, a tattoo or piercing in a place that shows, or a change in your body after a pregnancy or a long training block.

Add a few fresh photos

You do not need to start again. Take a handful of new, clear photos in good light that show the change plainly, from the front and from the side, and add them to your character. Fresh photos of your face keep your face right. For a change to your body, add new photos in Character settings so topless and naked pictures show your body as it is now.

Check before you post

Make one or two test pictures in a scene you know well and compare them with a recent selfie. If something still looks like the old you, add another couple of photos that show it clearly. It usually takes one round, sometimes two.

Keep your older pictures

Your gallery keeps everything you made before the change, and nobody else can see it. Those pictures are still yours to use whenever the older look suits what you are posting. Updating your character only changes what you make from now on.
